Press accreditation
Dear journalists, you are welcome at the European Festival of Joy and Mercy. In order to participate in this event organised by Fratello, it is necessary for you to take the following administrative steps
- First you will need to be officially accredited by the Holy See (accreditations are individual and can not be issued by Fratello)
- Secondly you need to sign up with Fratello (registration + press easy access during the event)

In order to obtain temporary accreditation, the following documents are required :
1. A letter from the newspaper management requesting a temporary press accreditation from the Press Office of the Holy See, specifying the period and the event for which a press accreditation is required, stating; journalist status, function of the correspondent in charge of the Holy See activities, as well as acceptance of professional standards (such as compliance with the embargo).
“Freelance” journalists should submit a cover letter from the Ministry of Foreign affairs or from the diplomatic service of the country from which the media organisation represented by the journalist operates.
2. A photocopy of a professional ID card (for journalists who come from countries in which such card exists).
3. Photocopy of a valid passport or any other valid ID.
4. One ID photo in colour and signed at the back.

To participate in the event, it is necessary to register with Fratello (25€ per person) by contacting us via the registration form bellow. Please feel free to let us know exactly your needs so we can respond as best as possible. If you would like to follow the pilgrims during the 3 days in Rome, please let us know so that we can assign you a group on demand and in certain cases accommodation and journey is can be done with the group.
